Contract:  Permanent, Full-time

Salary:  £21,500 per annum

The Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) is one of the UK’s longest established and most respected higher education institution and thought-leader in nutritional therapy and lifestyle sciences.  This is an exciting time at the Institute as we look to grow and develop new programmes and awards.

We are looking to appoint a Courses Administrator to join our small team providing a wide range of advice, guidance and administrative support to students and the academic faculty.

This is a fast-paced role suited to an experienced administrator.  You will thrive at the opportunity to help coordinate the academic admin function, ensuring the academics and students have the support required to deliver and learn courses.  You will be a vital link in communicating with colleagues and students, on the phone and via email, and will work to ensure our remote workers are well looked after and engaged in the organisation.

We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience of using and developing spreadsheets.
  • Experience designing and maintaining processes and procedures.
  • Experience of liaising between departments and client groups.
  • Experience of working successfully to deadlines and with conflicting priorities.
  • An ability to develop positive working relationships with a wide range of people and work effectively as a team.

You will need to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and database.  Experience in an educational setting would be an advantage but is not essential.

In return we offer a welcoming and supportive working environment with generous holiday entitlement, pension, flexible working and opportunities to grow and develop within the role.
