Who is eligible to top up to an undergraduate degree in nutritional therapy?

 

Nutritional therapists in current clinical practice

ION provides the only fast track pathway to an undergraduate degree in nutritional therapy using recognised prior certified and/or experiential learning (RPL). 

Graduated from ION since 2012

Using your DipION credits you can enter directly onto level 6 of the degree. No RPL fee or registration fee.

Graduated from ION before 2012 with a University of Bedford Foundation Degree

Using your DipION and University of Bedford Foundation Degree credits you can enter directly onto level 6 of the degree. No RPL fee or registration fee.

Graduated from ION, but not in the above categories?

You have the opportunity to use DipION credits and clinical practice experiential learning to top up to the degree. The amount of credit and course length will be determined through the submission of a portfolio of evidence against the learning outcome of the course. RPCL, RPEL and registration fees will apply.

Graduated from BCNH since 2015

Using your course credits you can enter directly onto level 6 of the degree. RPCL and registration fees will apply.

Graduated from an NTEC accredited course

You have the opportunity to use your diploma credits and clinical practice experiential learning to top up to the degree. The amount of credit and course length will be determined through the submission of a portfolio of evidence against the learning outcome of the course. RPCL, RPEL and registration fees will apply.

Other

Practicing nutritional therapist without an NTEC accredited qualification, you are still eligible to apply. You will need to demonstrate currency of knowledge and competency through the submission of a portfolio of evidence against the learning outcome of the course. RPCL, RPEL and registration fees will apply.
