09:00	Doors open for registration Gown collection & individual graduand/family photographs open
09:00 - 11:00	Tea & coffee for graduands and guests
11:00 - 12:30	Graduation ceremony commences Followed by official group graduate photographs

How to book and ticket info

Ticket booking deadline: Friday 13th September 2024

Graduates are invited to bring guests at £35.00 per ticket (including children under the age of 12 years at £12.50 per ticket) which includes the graduation ceremony and catering.

If you have any queries regarding the graduation, please telephone 020 8614 7800 or email us. 

When booking your ticket please specify any special dietary requirements for the ticket holder, and please provide the phonetic pronunciation of your first and last names (how they sound, not as they are written), to ensure they are read out correctly when you accept your award (e.g. Roisin Kowalczyk – Roh-Sheen Kuh-vall-check).

Graduation outfit hire and photographs

We have partnered with Ede & Ravenscroft to supply your graduation outfits and photographs.

Visit their website to hire your outfits & order your photography as soon as possible and receive a special online discount. When ordering your outfit, please ensure you select the correct gown option for the course you have graduate from. Please remember to bring your order confirmation with you and your QR code for your photography so that your order can be processed quickly. 

Please note, when selecting your institution, ensure to type in full: The Institute for Optimum Nutrition (or a variation of these words) and not ‘ION’.

Photography
Order deadline: Friday 13th September 2024

It is really important to pre-book your photography - often graduates tend to arrive at the graduation with their family and then decide that they wish to have a 'family photo' so please do think about this before the day.

You will find further information about the photo packages as you go through the booking process on the Ede’s & Ravenscroft website.

Graduation outfits
Order deadline: Friday 13th September 2024

Please note, you will need to wear the correct robes to attend the graduation ceremony.

Prior to hiring please ensure you know your head circumference, chest and height measurements (please see attached) and have a payment credit or debit card ready. Please also be sure to select the correct gown for your course and award.

Ede & Ravenscroft’s terms and conditions, including cancellation policy, are available on their website or by calling their call centre. Facilities for the deaf, hard of hearing or those with a speech impairment are available using your Textphone. Dial 1800.1012.2386.1854 to access the RNID Typetalk system.

Cancellations & refund policy

• Guest tickets for the ION Graduation can be cancelled within 14 days of booking. You will receive a full refund subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
• Cancellations received after the 14-day cancellation period and more than 14 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund.
• Cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the start of the event are not eligible for a refund (apart from when they are still within the 14-day cancellation period after booking).
• No refunds will be given for non-attendance under any circumstances.
• ION will not refund any travel, accommodation or sustenance costs that you may have incurred.

Photography & filming at the event

Please be advised that photography and filming will be taking place during this event. If you or your guests do not wish to appear in any images captured, please tell us so that we can take appropriate steps to ensure you are not included. 

Images will be used internally and externally for marketing purposes to promote the Institute.  These images could be used in print and digital media formats including print publications, websites, e-marketing, posters, banners, advertising, film and social media.  If you have any queries, please email us.
