Job title: Short Courses Coordinator

Location: Richmond, London and from home

Salary: £24,000 per annum pro rata

Part-time (15 hours per week)

Fixed term contract, initially for 6 months with potential to extend

Alongside teaching higher awards, ION runs popular and varied one to three day nutrition-related courses for members of the public and advanced training for nutrition professionals, athletes and other health professionals. Our current courses can be seen here.

An opportunity now exists for a Short Courses Coordinator to join the team initially on a six month fixed term contract.  The post-holder will coordinate an effective and efficient administration and support function thereby supporting the Head of Short Courses in delivering the CPD and short courses programme. The post-holder will work closely with the Head of Short Courses and across all departments to coordinate all support functions to support the programme.

You will proactively work in an evolving environment as we adapt to deliver interactive courses online in response to the global pandemic. You will use your own initiative to work through enquiries and identify and resolve problems.

  • Experience of liaising between departments and client groups.
  • Experience of working successfully to deadlines and with conflicting priorities.
  • An ability to develop positive working relationships with a wide range of people and work effectively as a team.

You will need to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and database.
