Nutrition Courses at ION

Nutrition courses for you, your life and your career

If you have ever asked yourself: "What should I eat to be healthy?", then you are not alone. With so much mixed messaging around what is or isn't meant to be good for us, no wonder there is so much confusion about food. Should we eat fat? Should we eat gluten? Is sugar bad?

We all have to eat, but how do we sort out the fact from fiction?

What research increasingly reveals, however, is that one size does not fit all. We all have our own microbiome (ecosystem of gut bacteria), genetics and DNA, health journey and lifestyle. Even identical twins can respond differently to the same food!

ION has delivered science-informed courses in personalised nutrition since 1984, becoming the UK's largest training provider in nutritional therapy.

Today, we offer a range of online courses validated by the University of Portsmouth, enabling our students to train to the level of expertise that is right for them and their career, with flexible study options.

Whether you are starting out on your nutrition journey, are already qualified as a nutritional therapy practitioner, or are a healthcare professional looking to expand your practice, we have the course for you.

To find out more, choose from our course options:
