Alumni Community

Your relationship with ION doesn’t end once you graduate

As an ION graduate, you are very important to us and we would like to continue our journey with you after your studies and help support you through your future career.

Every student who graduates from ION is invited to become a member of our Alumni Community. It is a helpful source of information for those working in, or with an interest in, nutrition and its impact on health and wellbeing.

Join our Community

Benefits

Once you are an official member of the Alumni Community, you will receive emails from us that are relevant to you and your career, including:

  • details of internal and external CPD events
  • job opportunities
  • discount offers
  • networking events
  • opportunities to attend exhibitions and contribute to the ION newsletter and magazine, Optimum Nutrition

We would also love to hear from you too, to find out where your education has taken you. Whether you’re involved in an exciting project, have published a new book, or have anything you want to shout about, we will endeavour to support you and showcase all of the important work that our graduates have done since gaining their qualification.

As an ION alumni community member you may also wish to support current students and ION events:

  • Speak to prospective students about what it is like studying at ION at one of our open days/evenings
  • Allow students to observe you in your clinic.
  • Share your career path and experiences with new graduates at the graduation ceremony that takes place once a year.
  • Volunteer to help at one of the public or trade events at which ION are exhibiting.
  • Offer work experience or employment opportunities to graduates of ION and help to inspire them on their journey.
  • Provide your expertise as a speaker or facilitator for one of ION's nutrition courses or outreach programmes.

Support the learning of nutritional therapy

Support the future of ION and the next generation of alumni by giving a gift to the Annual Fund or support students through scholarships, bursaries, prizes, equipment, resources.
