Return to Practice

Looking to return to practice?

 

Sometimes after training for a career in nutritional therapy life gets in the way, meaning that you either don’t get started as soon as you intended, or alternatively, you have to put your practice on hold while dealing with other priorities. 

To uphold the professional body and regulatory standards and give you confidence to practise, we offer programmes for qualified nutritional therapists who have been out of practice for two years or more to refresh their learning and practice skills.


 

Option A -Non-practicing for 2-5 years

Applicable if you have been a non-practicing Nutritional Therapist for 2-5 years, includes the following;

- Never joined BANT / have not been a member for 2-5 years

- Never practiced

- Not held insurance for 2-5 years


BANT requirements

Membership - BANT full non-practicing member

Online modules - 3 BANT learning zone functional medicine modules

 
Course fee and length

Duration: 1 year to complete

Fee: £750

Administration fee: £150


 

Option B - Non-practicing for 5-10 years

Applicable if you have been a non-practicing Nutritional Therapist for 5-10 years includes the following;

- Never joined BANT / have not been a member for 5-10 years

- Never practiced

- Not held insurance for 5 -10 years


BANT requirements

Membership - BANT full non-practicing member

Online modules - 3 BANT learning zone functional medicine modules

Course fee and length

Duration: 1 year to complete

Fee: £900

Administration fee: £150 


 

Option C - Non-practicing for 10+ years

Applicable if you have been a non-practicing Nutritional Therapist for 10+ years includes the following;

- Never joined BANT / have not been a member for 10+ years

- Never practiced

- Not held insurance for 10+ years


BANT requirements

Membership - BANT student level

Online modules - 3 BANT learning zone functional medicine modules


Course fee and length

Duration: training requirements to be discussed and agreed, recognised prior learning may apply.

Fee: price on application

  • Nutritional Therapy Diploma Course - DipION

    Level 3 education attainment: two GCE/VCE A Levels including one related science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, Home Economics) or equivalent (e.g. International Baccalaureate, Scottish Advanced Highers, Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Diploma, Irish Leaving Certificate, BTEC Diploma awards). Level 2 Maths and English at a minimum of Grade C is also required.
