Forty years of ION

The Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) has been a trainer of choice in personalised nutrition and lifestyle medicine since 1984. It has guided and nurtured thousands of passionate students towards successful careers in private practice, dietary education, corporate wellbeing, and the wider healthcare industry. 

Moving into its 40th year, ION would like to honour and celebrate past graduates who continue to transform the lives of others using a personalised nutrition and lifestyle approach, and to welcome the next generation of practitioners onto it courses. 

To support our students of today and tomorrow help us raise £400,000 for the 40^th Anniversary Fund. The Fund will help us broaden access to professional training through bursaries and student support services. We know that nutritional therapists can make a difference.  But we need more trained nutritional therapist in the healthcare workforce, and we need them from a range of communities and cultures.
