Upon successful completion you will have the option to progress onto the BSc (Hons) Nutritional Therapy and train to work in clinical practice as a BANT-registered nutritional therapy practitioner.
Learn about real food and the importance of its constituents for health. This course opens the door to working in health settings, allowing you to share your knowledge both in group sessions and one-on-one to help people achieve their health goals.
Learn about a holistic approach to diet and health alongside relevant physiology and pathophysiology. Understand the role of macro- and micronutrients, phytonutrients and other food components, and how food production, processing and personal choices can impact health and wellbeing.
Appraise dietary guidelines, conduct dietary analysis, and understand dietary approaches for management of common conditions and boundaries of practice. Build your knowledge of personalised diet and lifestyle and understand how to apply these to your work with clients, or to your friends, family and self. Reflect on your learning and personal development. Add skills to build your own business or career portfolio to work in health and fitness environments, education and health promotion.
