Work with clients one-to-one or in groups to tackle specific health conditions, like chronic fatigue, or to generally improve health. You can choose whether to work independently or collaborate with other health professionals.

“The simple yet powerful act of suggesting mindful adjustments yields remarkable results. And when they come back and say, ‘I can finally eat and not feel pain,’ or ‘I’m sleeping through the night and I’ve just got so much more energy,’ comments like that are really the most rewarding.”

Research and Postgraduate Study

Research and Postgraduate Study

If you’re curious about the science behind personalised nutrition, a career in research or further academic study could provide a fascinating journey. Nutritional therapy is a rapidly evolving field, and there’s growing demand for evidence to support practice. Some nutritional therapy graduates go on to pursue master’s degrees, PhDs, or research roles in universities, health organisations, or industry.

“Undertaking my dissertation was one of the most interesting parts of my degree, and afterwards I managed to get a revised version of it published in a journal, which was an immensely rewarding experience. Since then, I have gone onto to publish further papers and peer-review for a number of journals, and am currently completing a PhD in Medicine. I never thought of doing research before my degree, but I had a knack for it, so it became a focus of mine.”
