Two free online consultations with a supervised student practitioner online (usually four weeks apart).

When can I book?
Sign up to our waiting list at ANY time by contacting clinic@ion.ac.uk or directly complete your registration form.
Appointments are available twice a year either in the months of September – December and in February – June semester every year.
Who can volunteer?
Our student consultations are open to people of all ages and backgrounds – whether you have specific health concerns or simply want to improve your diet.
Volunteers must be willing to openly discuss their general health and lifestyle habits.
Our students cannot currently work with anyone who has the following:
- Confirmed or suspected cancer diagnosis
- Receiving ongoing cancer treatment, including taking medication
- A past or current diagnosed eating disorder
- A BMI of under 16 or above 35
- Kidney disease
- Taking lithium, digoxin or warfarin
- Type 1 diabetes
- Epilepsy
- Gastric band
- Colostomy bag
- Depressive or personality disorders
- Dementia and Alzheimer’s
- Addictive disorders
- Active self-harm
Good to know
- You will be observed by a fully qualified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, fellow students (max 4) and occasionally other educational staff. Sessions are also recorded for marking and moderation purposes.
