Empower patients by integrating personalised nutrition and lifestyle medicine into your practice

Purposefully curated for medical professionals, allied healthcare practitioners and CAM practitioners who believe in the power of personalised dietary and lifestyle interventions to support modern medicine and foster positive health outcomes.

Position yourself at the forefront of personalised nutrition and lifestyle medicine within your profession by developing the knowledge, critical thinking, clinical insight, and professional confidence required to support individuals with complex health challenges and deliver personalised, evidence-informed care.

Using case-based learning and reflective practice, you will strengthen your personalised care planning skills in the context of complex client presentations, broadening your professional scope and expanding your patient’s options.

On completion, graduates may complete supervised clinical practice training and practice outside of their current scope of practice or continue their study with ION’s MSc Personalised Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine Practice (top-up), available from 2028 subject to validation.

What you'll study

This case-focused course is designed for medical professionals, allied healthcare practitioners (e.g., nutritionists, dietitians, pharmacists, physiotherapists, specialist nurses) and CAM practitioners who want to integrate personalised nutrition and lifestyle medicine within the boundaries of their non-clinical work (advising or communicating to groups, communities or organisations) or clinical practice.

Investigate dietary, nutraceutical and lifestyle approaches to optimise health. Learn how to appraise available tools to collect and interpret client data and elicit behaviour change. Learning is shared and discussed with peers and tutors in online group seminars.
