After a high-flying career in finance, Helen Hindley swapped spreadsheets for science, launching a wellness business powered by nutritional therapy and a clear focus on longevity.

By the time Helen Hindley launched Regenify Health in 2025, she’d already lived what many would call a full life. Formerly a high-flying City financial director, a mother of six (two biological, four stepchildren), and a qualified personal trainer, she had taken early retirement in 2004. But her second act didn’t begin until her late forties, amid the brain fog of menopause and a growing interest with biohacking.

“My journey into health and wellness really began after having children. I developed a passion for fitness, became a qualified personal trainer, and soon found myself increasingly drawn to nutrition.”

“I hated assignments and exams,” she laughs now. “I’m not a word person. But I knew I had to go back and do the degree.”

Evidence-informed research was a game-changer for me

The degree in question was BSc Hons in Nutritional Therapy. In 2019, Helen took a leap, enrolling on a Science Access course at a local college and then onto a part-time BSc Nutritional Therapy degree in 2020 at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION). “I’d always been fascinated by nutrition,” she says, “but I thought I knew loads. I didn’t. Heather’s lectures early in the degree course on bias made me unlearn things I’d taken as truth. It was a proper wake-up call.”

The workload, she admits, was no joke. “Sticking to deadlines was so important. I was in my early 50s, mid-menopause, juggling six kids. My memory wasn’t the best – I was so glad there were no exams. I had to learn to steer my own course and not get too stressed.”

She talks animatedly about the course’s rigour. “ION is brilliantly well-rounded. The clinical practice, the coaching modules: they were exceptional. But don’t underestimate how much work is involved. I realised a lot of the nutrition books I’d loved were too simplified. Evidence-informed research was a game-changer for me. You learn quickly there’s no magic food and that the body is way more complex than we give it credit for.”

Business-minded

Since qualifying in March 2025, Helen’s been on a mission to reimagine healing. Regenify Health is her response to a healthcare system that, she believes, too often overlooks prevention.

Launching with her partner, Richie, she has set up a wellness clinic where clients use the Human Regenerator, a non-invasive wellness device that uses Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) technology to support the body’s natural recovery processes.

CAP is an advanced, non-invasive technology that generates an ionised gas containing free electrons, ions, and neutral particles, creating a field of static energy around the body.  Unlike traditional heat-based therapies, CAP operates at room temperature, making it safe and comfortable. When using the Human Regenerator, the body is surrounded by this ionised energy field, which interacts at a cellular level to help restore electrical balance.

“It might look scary but it’s the opposite of invasive. You just lie there. No fuss, no pills. It taps into the body’s own systems and once people feel better, that’s when the nutrition and lifestyle work really begins.”

She discovered the technology at the Health Optimisation Summit in 2023. Since then, she’s seen transformations that she still finds hard to believe: her partner walking normally again after 2.5 years of severe inflammation following a knee replacement, her son’s surgical wound healing dramatically fast, even clients with tremors regaining ease in their hands. “My own hot flushes improved, so did my neuropathy. And mood. We never make any promises, there are no guarantees, but we do see real change.”

Helen still plans to see a handful of nutrition clients each month, but her focus is squarely on growing Regenify Health. “I want 7 or 8 regenerators in the next five years. This shouldn’t just be accessible to the wealthy. There’s a shift happening as people are turning away from ultra-processed food and wanting lifestyle medicine.”

“Good crazy”

Despite the science, the gadgets, the buzzwords, Helen’s real passion is the simple stuff. “Hydration, sleep, breathing, it’s not all about supplements. I had a 75-year-old client say, ‘Longevity is doing the things you love for longer.’ That’s it. That’s the point.”

She believes in the ripple effect. “When one person gets well, they raise their kids differently, make better choices. That’s legacy work.”

Helen is the kind of person who can say “I’ve been brave” and mean it, without bravado. Her voice carries a mixture of calm authority and restless momentum. “This work, it’s full-on,” she says. “But it’s good crazy.”

She’s now working with athletes, including a powerlifter ranked fifth in the world. She smiles, already thinking ahead: “The opportunities are unlimited.”
